GSC Information: History

Geographic Services Corporation ("GSC") was founded in 1993 in Norwich, VT.

Our business began as a GIS consulting business specializing in geographic databases and software systems. We also developed specialized hard copy and digital maps, built CD-based ATM locator systems for banks, and assisted pioneering Internet companies like CitySearch with their geocoding needs.

In mid-1997 we expanded our offerings by developing a private label store locator service for the Internet. Our locator clients represent a diverse cross-section of industries, ranging from retail chains to banks to customer call centers.

GSC's principals have over 50 years of collective experience in the fields of geographic processing, service work, databases, and software product development.
